Congratulations

Congratulations to the 6th grade students at Holy Name Catholic School. On Tuesday, May 25th will be their Promotion Mass and reception at 6:30 PM.

Virtus

There will be a Virtus class on Saturday, June 19th in the Parish Hall from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM.

Lunch

The last day of school (Wednesday, May 26th) we will NOT serve lunch that day. Students will be dismissed at NOON.

May 26th

The Preschool Award Assembly will be at 8:00 AM in the gym on May 26th.

Students in grades K - 6 will sign yearbooks around 9:15 AM in the gym on May 26th.

Kindergarten Graduation & Awards will be at 10:30 AM in the gym on May 26th.

Light of Leadership

The Light of Leadership service will be after the 8:15 AM Mass on Wednesday, May 26th. The 6th grade students will pass the "light" to the 5th grade class.

6th grade Promotion

The 6th gradae promotion will be Tuesday, May 25th at 6:30 PM. There will be a reception after Mass in the gym.

AR Lunch

Our AR celebration lunch for those students that met their AR goal this semester will be on Tuesday, May 25th 11:30 AM. There will only be one lunch period that day.

AR Assembly

Our last AR Assembly for this school year will be on Friday, May 21st at 9:00 AM.

Field Day

Field day for 2-day preschool will be on Thursday, May 13th at 10:00 AM.

Field day for 3-day preschool will be on Friday, May 14th at 9:45 AM.

Field day for grades K - 6 will be on Friday, May 14th beginning with lunch at NOON.

Rosary

The students at Holy Name Catholic School will pray the rosary each Friday during the month of May.

Friday, May 7 at 2:15 PM...2nd grade will lead the Rosary
Friday, May 14 after the 8:15 AM Mass....6th grade will lead the Rosary
Friday, May 21 at 2:15 PM.....5th grade will lead the Rosary

Schwan Delivery

Just a reminder...There will be two Schwan trucks parked on the blacktop behind the school on Friday, May 7th from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

First Friday

We will have adoration and benediction on Friday, May 7th after the 8:15 AM Mass.

Uniform Meeting

There will be a short uniform meeting on Thursday, May 6th at 3:00 PM in the gym. This meeting is for those students that will be entering Kindergarten or 5th grade parents. There will be sample uniforms available at the meeting.

Power Up Wellness Activity

The 6th grade class has been planning & preparing a wellness activity on Thursday, May 6th for the students at Holy Name Catholic School. The afternoon will start at 1:00 PM with both nutritional activities as well as physical activities for grades K - 6. The afternoon will end at 2:15 PM with a snack for all the students.

Parents are welcome to come and enjoy the afternoon.

Rosary

Holy Name Catholic Students pray the rosary after the 8:15 AM Mass each Thursday. The intention for the month of May is....Pray for our seminarians who are presently preparing for Holy Orders.

Generations of Faith

Just a reminder...Generations of Faith will be Wednesday, May 5th at 6:30 PM. HSA will be preparing tacos. Bring a side dish and then the evening will end with build your own ice cream sundae.

This will be the last Generations of Faith for this school year.

Come and celebrate....Cinco de Mayo

Antique Cars

Wednesday, May 5th at 10:30 AM (weather permitting)the students will have an opportunity to see some Antique cars. There is a group from Coffeyville and surrounding area that will come and park their car on the blacktop for the students to see. If it rains that day...they will come on Thursday, May 6th at 10:30.

Parents are invited to come and view the antique cars.

Spring Concert

Holy Name Catholic School Spring Concert will be Tuesday, May 4th at 7:00 PM.

MAP Testing

MAP Testing will start on Monday, May 3rd. Schedules were sent home to each family.

Teacher Appreciation week

The week of May 3 - 7 is Teacher Appreciation Week.
