Friday, December 19th

Just a few reminders....

We will be serving lunch on Friday at 11:25 for ALL grades.

Students that reached their AR goal will have a luau in the gym starting at 11:15.

At Noon, representatives from the Midwest Pregnancy Center will be at Holy Name to accept the gifts that the children placed around the manger.

The first semester ends on Friday, December 19th.

School will be dismissed at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 19th.

Our Geography Bee will be Thursday, December 18th at 1:00 PM.

AR Assembly

The AR assembly will be Thursday, December 18th after Mass.

Baby Gifts

Roberta Hoy, director of the Midwest Pregnancy Center will be at Holy Name Catholic School on Friday, December 19th at NOON. The students will present to her and the volunteers from the Pregnancy Center our baby gifts.

Christmas Program -- Cancelled

Parents,

Father Ben and I have been watching the weather conditions for Tuesday, December 16th. The weather forecast shows freezing drizzle starting around 2:00 PM tomorrow. We feel that for the safety of our students, parents, and faculty it would be best for us to cancel the Christmas Program on Tuesday, December 16th. We may try to reschedule the Christmas Program after the first of the year.

This was a very difficult decision because the students have worked so hard.

Baby Gifts

I have invited a representative from the Midwest Pregnancy Center to come to our Christmas Program (Tuesday, December 16 at 7:00 PM) so that the students can give her the baby gifts that have been placed around the manger.

Family Math Night

You are invited to Family Math Night on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 PM.

Holy Name Catholic School will hold an exciting event called Family Math Night!! The intent of Family Math Night is to participate in math standards in action as we strengthen the mathematical application, problem solving and communication skills of students through the power of family interaction.

We will combine our family wellness activity for this nine weeks with our Family Math Night.
