Red Ribbon Week: October 26 - 30
Red Ribbon Week is about encouraging the children to make healthy lifestyle choices and teaching them the dangers of drugs.
Monday, October 26 -- Decorate Classroom Door
Tuesday, October 27 -- "Sock it to Drugs Day (wear crazy socks to school)
Wednesday, October 28 -- Sign Pledge Banner
Thursday, October 29 -- Wear a red uniform shirt
Friday, October 30 -- Pray the rosary for those affected by drugs at 2:15 PM in the church.

Rosary
The students will be praying the rosary each Friday during the month of October at 2:15 PM at the church. Everyone in the parish and school is invited to come and pray the rosary.
October 2.......6th grade will lead the rosary
October 9.......5th grade will lead the rosary
October 16.....4th grade will lead the rosary
October 23.....3rd grade will lead the rosary
October 30.....2nd grade will lead the rosary

PTO
There will be a PTO meeting on Tuesday, September 22 at 7:00 PM in the gym. Students will provide a short music program that evening.
Teacher Convention
Holy Name Catholic School teachers will be attending a Teacher Convention in Pittsburg on Friday, September 18. There will be NO school that day.
Mid-Term Conferences
Holy Name Catholic School Mid-term conferences will be Thursday, September 17th. A schedule will be sent home.
School Council
The School Council will meet on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:00 PM in St. Joseph Hall.
Grandparents
Holy Name Catholic School students would like for grandparents to attend Mass with them on Wednesday, September 16th at 8:15 AM. Students in grades 1 - 6 will be attending Mass that day. The students will meet grandparents at church so that they can sit together.
