National Vocation Awareness Week

National Vocation Awareness Week  is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.  Beginning in 2014, National Vocation Awareness Week was moved to the first full week of November (November 2 - 8, 2014).

Saint Reports

Saturday, November 1^st, 2014 is All Saints Day.  The students at Holy Name Catholic School (Kindergarten – 6^th grade) will dress up as a saint on Friday, October 31, 2014. Each student will research a saint during the month of October.  Students at Holy Name Catholic School (Kindergarten – 6^th grade) will attend Mass at 8:15 AM.  After Mass we will take a picture of our “saints” here at Holy Name Catholic School. Once the picture has been taken we will return to the gym and students will give a short presentation about their saint. After the saint presentations each student will receive a “snack” in the gym from PTO.

Everyone is invited to attend the saint presentations after Mass. This is such a wonderful learning experience for the students. Please come and learn about all the different saints.

Wellness Activty

Holy Name Catholic School will have its first Wellness Activity on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Weather permitting we will play kickball on the playground. All school families are invited to attend.

Stewardship Fair

Holy Name Parish will have a Stewardship Fair the weekend of October 18 - 19. There will be tables set up in the gym that will represent the different ministries at Holy Name. After each Mass, parishioners can go to the gym to learn about ways they can share their time and talent at Holy Name.
